180 Day Wait Period - DPS requires new drivers ages 15-17, to practice for 180 days prior to being issued a Driver’s License - Class C Provisional License. The new driver must also be age 16 to obtain their Driver’s License and age 15 to obtain their Learner’s Permit. This 180 day date is on the back of their Learner’s Permit - Letter F Restriction: Must hold permit until xx/xx/xxxx.
