Stonepoint Driving is a DPS Authorized Road Exam Testing Facility.
Tests are available: Mon-Thurs 2:30 pm to 4 pm and Sat. 6 pm

Due to Liability, the Driving Student will use our 2022 White Honda HRV for the Road Test.

CAUTION
When we administer the DPS Road Test, we are an Authorized-Trained Agent of the DPS,
so it is like you are at the DPS and the Student MUST BRING ALL 'SIGNED' CERTIFICATES TO THE ROAD TEST.

If all Certificates are not presented, we must treat this the same as if you were at the DPS
and we Will Not be able to administer the Road Test and you will forfeit your payment.

A Parent/Guardian (or Grandparent) must sign the DPS Test Form if the student is age 16 or 17.
We will send you and email with more information after your register and a list is shown below here in red.

*New 2025 Option to Avoid going to the DPS after the Road Test to obtain the New License.
After a successful Test, pay $20 and we will upload the Documents via our Government Authorized TPST Portal:
the Application [see green links below] and Certificates.

The Student will need to create a www.TxT.Texas.gov account AND bring a completed Application for a Drivers License Class C to the test. (see green link below to print). Processing is 2-5 Business Days. When approved log in and pay the license fee. The DPS will email you the paper copy for printing and the hard copy will be mailed.

When you chose to do PARENT TAUGHT CLASS ONLINE You Must Read all The Course Provider Instructions.
Reminder that the PARENT IS THE ‘INSTRUCTOR’ SO PARENT SIGNS THE CLASS CERTIFICATE WHERE IT SAYS ‘PT-INSTRUCTOR’
’PT’ STANDS FOR PARENT TAUGHT! AND THE PARENT IS ALSO THE 30 HOURS HOME PRACTICE INSTRUCTOR.
SO YOU SIGN A SECOND TIME IN THE BOTTOM 30-HR SECTION - NO BLANK LINES.

TEENS 16-17 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: And Teens must have a parent present to sign the DPS Test Form.

1. CURRENT VALID [NOT EXPIRED] LEARNERS PERMIT LICENSE [check the F Restriction date on the back-take test AFTER that date!]

2. CLASS 32 HR and CAR 7 Lessons Completion Certificate [Stonepoint Students this will be One Certificate for Both Class and Car] - FILL IN ALL SECTIONS and Parents must sign the 30 Hr Home Practice Section at the bottom. - No Blank Lines!!!!!!! and Check it AGAIN!!
